e-SolarForecast™ is an online solar generation forecast service for utility-scale solar farms. Our forecasts are provided for a horizon extending to seven days with hourly resolution. The forecasting engine consists of an ensemble of several different intelligent system based models that employ various state-of-the-art technologies. These models capture the non-linear and complex relationship between the generated power and its driving factors such as irradiance, temperature, wind speed, number of operational panels, and more. The required irradiance and weather data is provided by reliable weather data resources that are continuously updated in real-time. You can access forecasts via web posting, FTP and Excel. Our experienced experts continuously monitor model performance, ensuring the most accurate and reliable data at all times.

  • PRT participated in a three month trial with seven competitors to produce hourly solar generation forecasts for a major Californian utility (August 4, 2015 > October 31, 2015). PRT’s next-day solar generation forecasts were ranked number one (#1) in accuracy.
